There has been a lot of banter & dualing lately live & online about heads up poker, our poker egos are all inflated at the best of times so we decided to sort the arguement the best way we know how, for cold hard cash & cards at a table :-)
We are capping the entries at 32 players due to dealer numbers of tables and want to make the event as high quality & enjoyable for the players!
Tournament Details:1. Buyin: €500 + €50
2. Starting Stack 15,000
3. 10 Minute Blinds 1st 3 levels & 15 minute blinds last 3 levels
4. Capped 6 Blind Levels:
a) 50-100 - 10 Minute Clock
b) 100-200 - 10 Minute Clock
c) 150-300 - 10 Minute Clock
d) 200-400 - 15 Minute Clock
e) 300-600 - 15 Minute Clock
f) 500-1000 -15 Minute Clock
5. Date & Time: June 11th Starts 7pm Sharp
6. Draw will take place at 6pm in Casino & will be posted on Irish Poker Boards & Twitter & in the Club on Notice Board.
7. It will be an Irish Poker Ranking Event.
How To Buy InYou can register for the Irish Eyes Irish Heads-Up Poker Championship 2010 in one of the following ways:
1. In person at the cash desk at The Atlantis Casino, Carlow.
2. Through Satellite on Irish Eyes Poker Online.
3. Over the phone using a UK debut card (only available to exisiting members who have previously used their card in the casino).

Rules and RegulationsA. General Terms and Conditions
1. The Irish Eyes Heads-Up Poker Championship (IEHUPC) tournament consists of no limit hold'em heads up poker, single elimination match play.
2. The IEHUPC is limited to 32entries.
3. No player will be allowed to transfer to another player his or her seat, by any means.
4. Entry to the IEHUPC is on a first-come, first-served basis. An entry is considered valid only upon receipt by the host casino of payment in full of the buy-in and entry fee, an official Registration Form, and a signed media waiver.
5. The buy-in for the IEHUPC is €500 plus €50 entry fee. All deposits, buy-ins and entry fees are nonrefundable.
6. Should a fully registered player for any reason exit the tournament at any time prior to the start of or during the tournament, that player shall be considered eliminated from the tournament and the vacated seat may not be filled by any other player. No refund of any tournament buy-in or entry fee will be allowed.
7. Should the IEHUPC not be filled by the time of the draw "Bye" players will be inserted in to the draw under the rules of schedule B.
8. Players may enter the IEHUPC after the draw has taken place only if there are "Bye's" available. Players will be allocated "Bye" seats on a random basis.
9. As soon as the first match of Round 1 has started there can be no more entries.
10. All players must be available to begin their matches at the appointed times and in some cases as tables become available. Should one player be present and one absent for their scheduled match, the following rules shall apply. During the first 10 minutes the dealer will begin blinding off the absent player's chips at the rate of one hand every 3 minutes. After 15 minutes, the dealer will blind off the absent player's chips at the rate of one hand every 60 seconds. The loss of all chips means loss of the match.
11. Each match will continue until a winner is found.
12. Blinds will increase as per the schedule.
13. There will be a 5 minute break after every hour of play. After 2 hours play, there will be a 30 minute dinner break. Breaks at other times must be approved by a tournament official.
14. Should a question of procedure arise, the decision of the tournament organisers will be final and binding.
15. Players agree to participate in their match at any table designated by the tournament organisers, including the television table. Refusal to participate in a match at the designated table will be treated as a forfeit.
B. "Bye" ProcedureIn the event that fewer than 32 players enter the IEHUPC "Bye's" will be allocated as follows:
* Starting with Bracket 1, one of the positions will be randomly selected to be the "Bye".
The next position will be randomly selected from Bracket 2, followed by Bracket 3 and finally Bracket 4.
* It will not be allowed for two "Bye's" to be drawn against each other in the same bracket. Should this occur, the position will be replaced in to the draw and another position selected.
C: Sponsors LogosPlayers are permitted to wear sponsors logos with the following conditions.
During play on the main table players may wear logos as follows:
* Front of shirt, one logo
* Shirt sleeves, one logo on each sleeve
* Logos on shirt backs, Logos on caps
Player sponsorship must be declared at the start of the tournament. Any player seeking sponsorship once the event has started can only do so with the approval of the tournament organisers.
A player whose entry is being paid by the tournament organisers agrees to wear the logo of the current Title Sponsor and no other logo.
All sponsors logos must be approved by the tournament organisers.
