As announced earlier today on Twitter Atlantis Casino & Poker Club Carlow is proud to announce the First World Series of Poker Satellite Festival in Ireland.

The idea of this festival is simple, we want Irish poker players to have a chance to play in the greatest tournaments in the world "The World Series of Poker" but we also want to help get you there and get you in quality accomodation as part of you prize!

Our Festival will start June 4th at Atlantis Casino Carlow with our Main Event a 200eur+20reg. We Guarentee 2 packages that will include your return Flights Dublin to Las Vegas, Hotel Accomodation & your ticket to World Series of Poker Event -.

To compliment this original event we have announced the worlds best tournament structure devised by world renowned tournament director Matt Savage for the 2010 LAPT. Download or View it here
Our Starting Stack will be 12,000, but we will also be giving players an opportunity to get 1,000 extra chips with Twitter competitions & early bird registration. Making 15,000 the maximum starting stack possible for the main event.

Blinds will be 20 minutes and increase to 30 minutes at Level 20 in the tournament!

Additionally we plan to run other tournaments throughout the weekend 100+10 freezeout and high roller sit n go's 500+35 that will all give the winners packages to the WSOP 2010 in Las Vegas!

We plan to make this as fun a festival as possible and we have many quirky plans for the event such as bounties and heads up games, so you will never get bored.
